Carrie Lee, athlete, photographer and member our our community will be trekking the 1000 miles / 1600 km of the Mongolian Gobi Desert, the fifth largest desert on earth as part of an international team and to raise money and awareness for endangered species. Along the way, they will be making a film that will depict their adventure and their interactions with the indigenous people of the Gobi.
Carrie is hosting a Kick-off and Bon Voyage Party on April 30th at Club Richelieu in Welland starting at 4 pm.
Texas Hold ‘em, dunk tank, food and drink provided. The highlight will include performances by Dame and Cher – from Toronto.
