Kevin Jacobi
Treasurer

Kevin Jacobi is an openly gay man, both personally and professionally, and has lived in the Niagara Region his entire life. His parents brought him up with a strong sense of community and from an early age, he has constantly been involved with different charity groups. Currently, he holds the position of Emperor III for the Imperial Sovereign Court of St. Catharines and the Greater Niagara Region, a member of AIDS Niagara, is on the Welland/Pelham Chamber of Commerce Communications Committee and was part of the initial steering committee for the Pride Network of Niagara. Some of the addition groups he has been involved with include being the Vice President of Local 198 of the International Musician's Guild and a course screen for the Ontario Human Rights Commission for 2 years. Professionally Kevin currently is employed by the Oh Canada Eh Dinner Show in Niagara Falls as a performer as well as the fundraiser, graphics designer and accounts clerk. Kevin brings a strong voice to OUTniagara and looks forward to helping develop a united sexual- and gender-diverse community with the Niagara Region.

He has served as co-host of OUTspoken since August 2006 - after having guest co-hosted several times.  Tune into OUTspoken Fridays from 6-7 pm on 103.7 fm - or listen to the abuse he takes online - right here on the OUTniagara website.

Kevin was elected as Director at the Annual General Meeting in May 2005.  December of 2006, he was appointed to the position of Vice-Chair.

At the Annual General Meeting in May 2007, Kevin was elected to the position of Treasurer.  Kevin will serve as Treasurer until the Annual General Meeting in 2009.
